It should also be noted that in the situation in that article, don’t expect for women to stand up in those situations when they think no one is on their side. Silence from men == agreement until otherwise stated.
I think this was very well-said and I wanted to highlight it :) The most common question (predominantly from people presenting male) is “Why didn’t you stand up for yourself?” I hope this answers it.
