Great teaser for GamePro Quartely, @KenTheGreat1! Apparently they have an INCREDIBLE PR team. Rape is a GREAT marketing tool. We should all go tell Ken what a great job he’s doing! ETA: You can let someone on the editorial staff know how wrong this is. ETA2: McKinley Noble has given a non-apology of “I’m sorry you were offended” While his intentions may have been good — he claims the original tweet is in reference to how awful the acting is, that the demo fetishizes rape — the way he presented it was disingenuous and his apology is even worse. The original tweet was an attempt at shock-tweeting. Instead it was just plain offensive. And if he honestly felt this way — if this man honestly found the concept of rape for tittilation offensive — when he was called on the tweet, he would have instantly apologised, not dragged this out with pitiful defenses and open mockery and referring to people calling out his bullshit behaviour as “lynching” (really?). This non-apology smacks of his wrist having been slapped by the right person, and I’m calling it as the insincere gesture that it is. Try again! ETA3: Bonus points to Daniel Nye Gryffiths for recognizing that he said what everyone else (women) were saying. Negative points to McKinley for not realizing that he didn’t get what was wrong until a man said it (because apparently only men can have legitimate opinions).
